LUKE BOXALL (Bsc Hons)
Director, Meteorologist
Company director and lead meteorologist, Luke Boxall has been fascinated by weather systems and forecasting from the age of 5, and since that time has been determined to understand weather processes as fully as possible.
Luke went on to read Meteorology at Reading University, gaining a First Class BSc. He then joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Junior Met, quickly progressing to Senior Met, taking charge of forecasting across the Globe and working across various trading platforms in Power, Gas, Oil, Coal & Freight.
Luke then moved to Nanook Advisers and took on more project work, building advanced forecasting tools and working as their principle meteorologist delivering daily forecasts, particularly focussing on European Power and Gas.
Luke quickly gained a reputation for delivering consistently accurate forecasts and an ability to interpret market expectations and provide an informed professional opinion.
In 2015 Luke formed The Weather Perspective in order to provide world-leading meteorological services to a range of clients.

JOEL BOXALL (Bsc Hons)
Programming
Like his twin brother Luke, Joel found his passion at a very young age and after spending his childhood years taking apart and re-building computers and learning how to create programmes, Joel obtained a first class degree in Computing.
Joel began his career designing and coding bespoke applications for mobile devices and has gone on to work with and create award-winning applications for a diverse range of clients, from npower to Rolls Royce.
During this time Joel has developed a specific skillset that enables him to create innovative, easy-to-use and reliable applications. His experience in working with a wide variety of clients means that he's able to anticipate the requirements of the end user during the development phase and ensure his coding is robust enough to meet the rigerous demands of a professional working environment.
Being a leader in his field of work, Joel continues to consult part-time for software development firms alongside his work for The Weather Perspective.
